Pay Rate: $21.15 / Hour
Job ScheduleDay:
Thur Time: 02:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
Responsibilities- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, routine requests, and critical incidents using campus communication systems and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation, including dispatch activity, calls for service, and communications with responding personnel and local agencies as applicable.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, coordinating timely communication with officers, supervisors, and campus stakeholders.
- Monitor communication channels, alarms, cameras, and/or access‑related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- At least two years of security‑related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
