As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Welcome Desk in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment for tenants and guests.

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, maintain visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, alarms, cameras, and/or communication equipment; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, building concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Support front‑desk operations by answering phones, receiving deliveries, maintaining accurate records, and communicating relevant information to building management and Allied Universal leadership.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
