Job Summary

EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Licensed Part-time Master Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. The Journeyman Electrician must have or be able to obtain a L secret level Clearance for this role. The schedule is:
Wednesday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Performs all electrical trade functions necessary to install, maintain

* Inspects, maintains, cleans, repairs, tests and adjusts a variety of electrical equipment to include motors, switch gear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.

* Perform preventative maintenance and service calls

* Perform inspections

* Supervise subcontractors.

* Troubleshoot

Qualifications

* Must have a current Master Electrician License (DC or MD)

* Must currently have or be able to obtain an L Level Security Clearance

* Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician

* Must have a general knowledge of motors, switch gear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.

* Must be able to read and understand blueprints,

* Must have Troubleshooting skill

* Must be able to work the schedule of Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm
