Commercial AV Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with AV systems in commercial environments across the DMV. This role will have regular work hours as well as on-call rotations.

• Travel to assigned jobsites during the week to troubleshoot and correct issues for MTG's Customers' AV systems
• Analyze, troubleshoot, devise, and implement resolutions for customers' problem systems/equipment
• Update documentation as necessary for any code updates, equipment RMA's/exchanges, etc.
• Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled for clients' AV systems
• Research parts and work with manufacturers to replace components
• Check in with customer throughout the visit, and update the customer on the status of the service call before leaving site
• Provide detailed status report daily after each service visit
• Provide white glove service for all customers

• 3+ years of AV Service experience in commercial environments
• Proficient with troubleshooting equipment from Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, QSC
• Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment installation
• Familiarity with software troubleshooting for audio and visual systems
• Understanding of computer hardware components relevant to audio and visual setups
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for audio and visual equipment

• Electrical systems knowledge
• Field service experience
• Proficiency in using hand tools for equipment installation
• Ability to maintain and repair audio and visual equipment
• Software troubleshooting skills for audio and visual systems
• Understanding of computer hardware components relevant to audio and visual setups
• Familiarity with cabling and wiring installations
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for audio and visual equipment
