Position Summary

A Magnolia Commercial Plumber is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing commercial‑grade plumbing systems, components, and fixtures. This role requires traveling to various commercial job sites to perform repairs, routine maintenance, and, in some cases, small‑scale construction, retrofitting, or tenant improvement projects in commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities, such as office buildings, retail shops, restaurants, and medical centers. This position often deals with complex leak searches and temperature, troubleshooting sensor‑operated fixtures, replacement of grease traps and troubleshooting/repair/replacement of large commercial water heaters.

  • System Upgrades:

  • Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all work adheres to local plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Client Interaction:
Diagnose problems for clients, explain options for repairs, and provide cost estimates/invoices for work.
  • Logistics and Reporting:
Manage inventory in service vehicles, maintain accurate records of parts, and complete documentation for completed jobs.
  • Emergency Services:
Participate in on‑call rotations to handle urgent commercial plumbing failures.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team. Technician’s days will range from working alongside, working with an apprentice who you are responsible for training, or part of a team with other mechanics.
