Overview
General Summary of Position Performs maintenance and general repairs on the Hospital's electrical systems, equipment infrastructure and electrical fixtures. Performs skilled work including inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on various low and medium voltage electrical systems, emergency power systems and other equipment as assigned; works on thermostats, pumps, fans and automatic controls. Assembles and installs equipment and fixtures as directed.
Maintains accurate records and performs other related duties as required. Provides technical advice to Electrician I personnel. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy, policies, procedures and standards.
