Position: Union Maintenance Technician (Plumbing) 11:00pm-7:30am

* About the Role:

*
* As a CBRE Union Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

** What You'll Do*
* - Assist licensed plumbers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, fixtures, and plumbing equipment.

- Learn to interpret blueprints and building codes related to plumbing installations.

- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, measuring, and assembling pipes using hand and power tools.

- Support the diagnosis and troubleshooting of plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures.

- Help maintain water supply systems, drainage systems, and gas lines under supervision.

- Participate in safety inspections and ensure compliance with plumbing codes and regulations.

- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure proper storage.

** What You'll Need*
* - Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

- Enrollment in or completion of a recognized plumbing apprenticeship program preferred.

- Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools.

- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from licensed plumbers and supervisors.

- Ability to work in confined spaces and in varying environmental conditions.

- Familiarity with safety procedures related to plumbing work.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

What you'll need

· High School Diploma, GED, trade school diploma or 4-5 years of relevant work experience. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver's license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

· Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

· Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

· Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and CMMS
