Position Details/Responsibilities As the technical adviser on fire alarm systems programming and configuration, work with installation team and local fire marshal to ensure that all code requirements are met.
Act as a liaison between the project team, other trades, and customers, partnering with the superintendent and foremen to ensure production is on track.
Work with local jurisdiction (fire marshal) to ensure code compliance.
Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time, adheres to the blueprints and specifications, and exceeds customer expectations.
Here’s What We’re Looking For5–8+ years of related work experience, preferably with new construction, large commercial installations.
Gamewell-FCI and/or Notifier certifications.
NICET fire alarm certifications highly preferred.
Proficient knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).As the regional subject matter expert for life safety and fire alarm systems, must be willing to travel as needed and possess a valid driver’s license.
