DevOps Engineer

Precise Systems seeks an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to join our small team that focuses on integrating scientific software and algorithms into real-world, novel applications. Our product line is expanding and has centered on energy use modeling and optimization.

• Plan, develop, and test new backend features
• Maintain and improve the infrastructure for our cloud-based Kubernetes application
• Improve and maintain existing CI/CD infrastructure

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes deployment and administration
• Experience with Linux system administration and Docker containers

• Experience with Postgre
  
  SQL, SQL, PostGIS
• Programming experience in Go (Golang) and Python

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline

Compensation is determined by education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $ - $ (annualized USD). This range is part of the total compensation package.
