Application Developer (Python AWS)

Location:

Washington, DC

Pay From: $140,000 per year

• Experienced Application Developer
• 7+ years of developer experience
• Experience writing Python code along with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) required to deploy with AWS CDK
• Experience modeling business processes in AWS Step Functions
• Experience developing container-based applications, utilizing REST APIs for web-based applications written with either Angular or React in Type Script
• Experience utilizing AWS Cloud Watch and AWS Cloud Trail for logging events and audit messages in a highly regulated environment
• Remediation and unit testing of code as part of the application development and deployment process
• Agile development methodology experience and roles, with experience utilizing CI/CD for building and deploying cloud applications with Python for backend services and Angular front-end development
• Ability to contribute to design of the code and provide required documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field

• Design, develop, and maintain database applications to support complex system requirements
• Develop and maintain database solutions following Agile methodologies
• Implement deployment procedures and release management for database changes
• Ensure database performance, security, and reliability through proactive monitoring
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and query performance
• Provide technical support for end users
