Join the Custody team at Axon to build and improve the Property and Bookings modules inside Axon’s Records Management System (RMS). As a senior full‑stack engineer, you will deliver customer-facing features that make it easier for organizations to record, organize, and act on custody-related information. You’ll work across the stack—building interactive, responsive UIs using React and Type Script, and implementing reliable backend services in Go—to create smooth, dependable experiences for users who manage records and custody workflows.

Location: This role is based out of our Seattle office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. Reports to: Software Engineering Manager
Direct Reports: None

• Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews
• Mentoring engineers
• Working across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions that delight our customers
• Improve our Engineering process, including long-term thinking, sprint planning and stand-ups Building services that adhere to our high bar on availability and latency in this mission-critical space
• Working with the latest open source technologies

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems
• Backend service experience in multiple, managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar
• Experience working with SQL or No
  
  SQL data stores
• Experience with Java, Golang or Scala programming is a plus

Base Pay Range $141,000 — $225,600 USD
