Junior Java Developer

Assist with definition, design, prototyping, implementation, testing, debugging, verification, and deployment of Oracle, Java, Web Logic, and Glass Fish project requirements.

Assist to maintain software functionality.

Develop and maintain technical documentation for developed/maintained functionality.

Assist other developers, testers, and/or client stakeholders to understand relevant requirements.

Perform configuration management tasks for projects.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• At least six (6) years of experience developing and maintaining medium- to high-complexity software applications required.
• Experience with Oracle, Java, Web Logic, and Glass Fish development and maintenance required.
• Experience with Adobe Flex development and maintenance preferred.
• Experience with Cold Fusion development and maintenance preferred.
• Proven experience working with users in an Agile environment to understand requirements, elicit feedback, and refine solutions via demonstrations.

• Content management system (CMS) experience such as DRUPAL, Joomla, or Word Press.
• Configuration Management experience such as Serena CM.
• Windows 2008 Active Directory/XP/Win7 experience.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or relevant field of study required.
