Overview

Mapjects is a leading centralized operations portal for small and mid sized business. The centralized portal contains ERP components to suite the francise business needs. Mapjects Clearview products provide one-click distribution, logistics and analysis products to enrich and visualize big data sets from warehousing, full-fillments, fraud detection, payment technology and b2b eCommerce.

This position is responsible for supporting design and development in a team environment. The Mapjects developer has to be independent, driven and responsible. He should be profient on building applications, based on client meetings, current web technologies and development tools and features.

• After 8 months for full-time employees, partial remote / tele-working options shall be available contigent on project/client requirements.
• Mapjects tools shall be made available to all qualified developers, these tools are beyond Eclispe or Visual Studio and a lot of fun to work with.
• Domain or subject matters expertise is considered a bonus
• Innovative UX design is a plus

• You will support application development, prototyping, modeling.
• Support configuration changes, with ALM tools, identify applications bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance.
• Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are expected ted to be innovative, thorough, and practicable.
• Works under limited direction Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
• Work shall be evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives, team collarboration and contribution.
• Represents the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often performs project leadership role. Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5 - 7 years related experience.

• Proficient in the development of new or existing web-based applications using Java, Java
  -Servlets, JSP, JSF, XML, J2EE, Web Servicing JQuery.
• Proficient in SQL, No
  
  Sql, Big Data (a big plus)
• Proficiency with OS, such as Windows, UNIX and LINUX platform.
• Extensive experience in web based application servers Web Logic and Apache Tomcat.
• Extensive experience with Sybase.
• Proficient with IDE tools such as Eclipse
• Proficient in application frameworks like Struts, Spring or Hibernate.

• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
• A senior-level professional who is a motivated and effective team player.
• Experience with working on Agile project teams.
• Proficiency in common build tools such as ANT or MAVEN.
• Experience with Unit Testing tools like Rational Clear Case.
• Proficient with Autosys.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple initiatives.
• Java certification

• Familiarity with web-based applications
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Waterfall or agile methodology
• Familiarity with bug and change request tracking tools
