We are seeking an experienced and skilled Oracle APEX Developer with expertise in Java and XML to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and user‑friendly applications on the Oracle APEX platform. This role requires strong knowledge of APEX low‑code development, PL/SQL programming, Java‑based integrations, and XML for data exchange and configuration. The ideal candidate is a technical leader who can balance declarative APEX features with custom coding when necessary, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
• Implement complex PL/SQL logic, packages, triggers, and procedures.
• Develop custom components and backend integrations using Java.
• Utilize XML for data exchange, configuration, and integration tasks.
• Integrate APEX applications with REST/SOAP APIs and other enterprise systems.
• Optimize SQL queries and ensure database performance tuning.
• Extend APEX functionality using web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience developing applications with Oracle APEX.
• Strong PL/SQL programming skills with experience writing complex packages, triggers, and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) to extend APEX applications.
• Experience integrating APEX with REST/SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in Java for backend integration and custom functionality.
• Experience working with XML for data exchange and configuration.

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
