Back End Developer

Overview

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack web applications using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies. Build responsive user interfaces and robust APIs to support internal applications and third-party integrations. Ensure security, performance, and compliance with healthcare data standards.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Graph

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand workflows, identify operational gaps, and build scalable technical solutions

• Implement automated testing and quality assurance processes including Cypress testing
• Optimize applications for scalability, reliability, performance, and security
• Work with AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, and S3
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and continuous platform improvements
• Ensure applications comply with healthcare and data security standards including HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11
• Support data processing workflows, ETL pipelines, and integrations involving clinical or healthcare datasets

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Strong frontend development experience with VueJS, React
  
  JS, and Type Script
• Experience with Blueprint
  
  JS, Tailwind
  
  CSS, and/or Bootstrap
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and Graph
  
  QL services
• Familiarity with Graphi
  
  QL and API debugging tools
• Strong experience with Postgre
  
  SQL and MySQL databases
• Experience with No
  
  SQL databases such as Mongo
  
  DB and DynamoDB
• Familiarity with Nuxt, Next.js, or other modern frontend frameworks

• Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry
• Knowledge of clinical systems, healthcare data processing, or ETL pipelines
• Experience building enterprise SaaS or workflow automation platforms
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures
• Understanding of compliance and data security standards including HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11
• Experience designing scalable and secure cloud-native applications
