We are seeking an Appian Consultant to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This remote role requires a focus on Appian development, client interaction, and team collaboration to deliver high‑quality solutions.

• Understand user requirements and design and develop basic Appian solutions to meet those needs.
• Deliver complex development assignments efficiently and comprehensively.
• Show increasing quality, speed, and overall productivity in Appian development work.

• 1–2 years of software development, preferably with exposure to Appian.
• Experience with agile project methodologies to deliver working code.
• Ability to work independently and within a small team setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to product owners and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• General knowledge of the support area, including the customer domain and solution sets.
• Appian Level 1 certification (preferred or expected). Agile Certification.
• SQL knowledge – basic DDL and DML, including CRUD operations, and familiarity with Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Experience mapping database changes to Appian CDT via XSD.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors or client staff and complete assignments diligently.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes and deployment cycles, including HIL Dev and other corporate processes.
