Software Engineering Analyst

Accenture Federal Services is a technology partner for the U.S. federal government, delivering mission‑critical solutions across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations.

The Opportunity

As a Software Engineering Analyst you will start with immersive training in full‑stack development, cloud‑native engineering, and modern software practices. Your work will involve designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable software systems that integrate advanced AI capabilities to support federal missions.

What You’ll Do
  • Experiment and be an early adopter of emerging technologies and next‑generation IT tools, including generative AI, intelligent agents, and edge computing
  • Leverage advanced engineering frameworks such as Agentic AI to accelerate solution development and automate complex workflows
  • Design and build full‑stack applications using languages like Python, Java, and JavaScript, with frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Spring Boot
  • Deploy cloud‑native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP using containers, serverless functions, and infrastructure‑as‑code
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production systems, optimizing for performance, stability, and ethical use
  • Collaborate in agile teams to deliver secure, resilient, and innovative software that supports federal missions and improves citizen services
What You’ll Learn
  • AI engineering fundamentals, including model deployment, orchestration, and responsible AI practices
  • Agentic system design and how autonomous agents can drive mission outcomes
  • Dev Sec Ops , CI/CD pipelines, and secure SDLC tailored for federal environments
  • Rapid prototyping and iteration using modern engineering methods and cloud‑native architectures
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field, with a graduation date no later than August 31, 2026
  • Strong foundation in programming languages and familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Dev Ops) and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract requirements
  • Ability to travel 25‑50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong academic track record (3.0 GPA required, 3.2 preferred) from a 4‑year accredited institution
  • Coursework or hands‑on experience in multiple programming languages, modern frameworks, architectures, databases, cloud platforms, and AI/ML
  • Experience with full‑stack development frameworks and knowledge of secure coding practices and software testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks and exposure to Agentic AI concepts or autonomous system design
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
Work Model
  • If the position is listed as remote or hybrid, you’ll periodically work from an Accenture Federal or client site facility
  • If the position is listed as onsite, you’ll work with colleagues and clients in person, as needed for the role
Benefits & Compensation

Compensation ranges from $61,700 to $109,400 USD, depending on location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional benefits include mentorship, certifications, and access to cutting‑edge technologies through the Analyst Development Program.
