Apex Systems has an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer. The team’s goal is to deliver a world-class user experience to our customers by leveraging the latest in user experience design and technology enhanced by Artificial Intelligence and Automation. The team consists of highly driven, technically talented people who are passionate about developing new innovative solutions to drive our clients key business strategies.

The team is looking for a talented, highly motivated and hands on Full Stack Developer to help drive a best-in-class user experience for our students. The developer will design and build enhancements to existing student portals as well as new and innovative technology experiences, develop a common framework and reusable components and API’s using API/Micro services development and Web/Mobile experience design concepts, and be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of these systems.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Mentor and assist other developers
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write effective APIs
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
• Write technical documentation
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing web applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Experienced working in an agile environment
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
• Knowledge of Java and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js, Spring Boot)
• Knowledge of developing on cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
• Understanding of test driven development
• Familiarity with relational and No

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field

Required Skills:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Development
• Strong hands on development of Apps hosted on GCP
• Familiarity with LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability)
• 7+ years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role developing web applications
• Front end:
  React (JavaScript) or Angular (JavaScript)
• Back end:
  Spring Boot REST API (Java - ELearning background)
