APS Vault Project

APS, Vault project, key initiative getting pushed next year. Have a platform that they think can scale, but they want to grow it.

Business goal is to digitize all of Fidelity's workflow in terms of documents coming in and going out. Multiple use cases: A customer makes an appointment with a representative, will be asked to bring documents (tax forms, statements). Vault will allow them to upload pictures and scrape data from images. Could be individual customers updating their accounts, changing their names, etc.

Their platform will provide integrations to third party customers, supplying APIs, Node.js abstraction layer that integrates with customer portals.

Tech stack:
Java, Spring Boot, Nest.js, Node.js, Express.js, Typescript, React.js, Angular, Postgres, AWS, RDS

• Looking for 2 back-end heavy and 2 UI heavy
• Java/Spring Boot-based REST APIs and microservices. All new APIs are Java-based
• The Node.js/Nest.js with some Express.js is an abstraction middle-tier layer between API and UI that serves the purpose of routing APIs to third parties/clients who have their own UI. Don't need hard experience in back-end/middle-tier work with Node.js/Typescript. Okay with any basic familiarity with Node.js through API or UI work (i.e. NPM)
• Their front-end is React.js right now but will move entirely to Angular so should be targeting 2 Angular-heavy resources, with React experience being nice to have
• If they're very heavy front-end or back-end that's okay, they have upskilled people in the past on the other side of the house, but need at least some experience in UI development or API builds (whichever's appropriate) for the jump start.
