The successful candidate will join a high‑performing team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the development, testing, and validation of the TEMT Tool (The help desk portion), a mission‑critical application that supports FAA operational and engineering activities. You will work alongside software developers, systems engineers, and customer stakeholders, helping deliver high‑quality tools and acquisition support services nationwide.
With multiple projects, evolving requirements, and a diverse stakeholder community, this role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.
The selected candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, creating and executing test cases, documenting and tracking defects, validating system requirements, and coordinating testing activities across multiple software development teams. The individual will also identify opportunities for process improvements and help promote testing best practices throughout the organization. In addition to testing responsibilities, this role provides opportunities to support customer engagement activities, including demonstrating software capabilities, gathering user feedback, identifying configuration and customization needs, coordinating with development teams to deliver effective solutions, and assisting with support ticket resolution.
Required Qualifications- Experience leading a software testing team, including leading efforts to identify testing strategies.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 6 or more years of work experience supporting clients, including business analysis.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with the ability to prioritize, pay attention to details, and follow through to completion.
- Skills to document software development requests from clients, and report these to the team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interface with government clients.
- Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to obtain FAA Suitability and FAA Public Trust.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident (reside 3+ years U.S.).
- Scrum/Agile and/or Dev Ops experience preferred.
- Automated testing experience desirable but not required.
