The successful developer will be supporting a wide variety of applications on behalf of the Sponsor. This individual will also be supporting ongoing O&M efforts and development of new applications/functionality as they arise. The developer will join a development team building web applications and web services that integrate heavily with enterprise RDBMS supporting personnel security business processes. There is an opportunity to work with a wide variety of contemporary technologies to solve an array of technical challenges.

• 16 years demonstrated on-the-job experience in full life-cycle software development with the ability to define and design system architecture from complex user requirements, ability to identify and mitigate technical risk, troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
• 10 years demonstrated on-the-job experience in the design and implementation of web applications using Java and the JavaScript frameworks JQuery, Spring and Hibernate
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience creating web services with REST interfaces
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience writing database queries and procedures with SQL or PL/SQL
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience integrating databases with an ORM Framework
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience translating customer and system requirements into web services or applications
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience writing UNIT tests with jUNIT
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with XML and HTML5
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with C++
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with version control systems GIT or SVN (preferably GIT)
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience configuring Apache Tomcat
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with corporate Linux infrastructure

• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with CSS
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Cocoon
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with YUI
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with the Agile development methodology
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience with builds and deployments using Apache Maven
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience transitioning existing enterprise applications to the C2S Cloud
