Sr Software Engineer

Location:

100% Remote

Duration: 2 Year Contract

Are you open to candidates that would need to be 100% remote for the duration of the engagement? Telecommute but without moonlighting. Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? Start time 6 AM preferred or 7 AM preferred to cover offshore overlap.

Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiative which describes whats being done? Modernize legacy dotnet applications. Build brand new products using modern cutting edge technologies like, .Net Core, EF, Azure or any cloud, Dev Ops, GIT, React.

Js, API Culture, Microservice, Agile/Scrum etc.

Must Have:

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in Microsoft full stack of technologies, ASP.Net. MVC, WebAPI,  and C#
• At least 6+ years of development Experience (latest), Entity framework, WebAPI and C#
• 3+ years of experience in .Net Core
• Experience in writing Rest APIs & Swagger
• Experience in Entity Framework core
• 6+ years of experience in SQL Server
• 4+ years of experience in Azure Cloud or any other Cloud
• Building Cloud native or agnostic applications
• 4+ years of experience in GIT or Bitbucket
• Intermediate level experience in using CICD and Dev Ops
• Some UI frameworks like Angular, React or MVC etc.
• Good understanding on OOPS concepts and design patterns
• Experience in written clean, unit testable code.
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum team
• Experience in working with Product owner and other business stakeholders
• As needed work with product owner and other business stake holder to help in formulating stories
• Research and recommend options for the betterment

Good To Have:

• React.js experience
• SSIS Packages
• Experience in some integration test frameworks.
• Experience with microservices
• Splunk & New Relic

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? We want to be as specific as possible with our firms so they can find the type of candidate you’re looking for. Healthcare domain is not mandatory. Modern technical stack and development experience (Not production support or BAU type previous project are not preferred)..Net, Core experience & cloud technical skills are important to perform this job.

What does the team structure look like - how many members and what is the break-down of the teams skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? Scrum team with 7+ members(Developers & QA), 1 Engineering manager, 1 Product manager, 1 Scrum Master

What does the interview process look like?
