Full Stack Software Engineer
Contract to hire, remote
Project Scope / Components: UHG Medicare Solutions & are two old portals that they have. They integrate with Insurance Solutions (different company)…they want to bring that data in house and call their own APIs vs. the other companies’. In addition there are some major changes they want to make to the look and feel. Also a cloud modernization happening now…were in Open Shift and they wanted to go to GCP or Azure.
Some enhancement and some are a total teardown / ‘delete’
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):
- Angular (actually using MIT – Svelte, but we don’t need it specifically compiles and executes Typescript)
- HTML / CSS
- Stateless app
- NPM – Node
- Java / Springboot (20%)
- REST / Microservices
- Cloud experience – doesn’t matter what product
- Dev Ops – needs to be able to deploy their code
- Unit testing
- Security Scan Fixing (Sonar / Test Log / Contrast Scan) – just need to run the code and look at the logs to see where there are vulnerabilities
Nice To Have:
- AEM or CMS tool
- Akamai Caching or other caching tool
