Software Engineer, DevOps, Cloud Engineer - Software

This is an opportunity to join a well-funded AI and cybersecurity startup building autonomous systems for advanced vulnerability research. As a Software Engineer / Member of Technical Staff, you'll help develop the infrastructure behind AI-driven security research, building production systems that combine AI, distributed systems, and offensive security. This is a high-impact role on a small engineering team where you'll have significant ownership and work on challenging technical problems from day one.

The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems. Experience with AI infrastructure, backend platforms, developer tools, or distributed systems is highly relevant, along with a curiosity for operating systems, networking, and security.

Must Have

Skills:

• Strong programming experience with Python, Go, Type Script, Rust, C, or C++
• Experience building production software and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD
• Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, or security fundamentals
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to work onsite or hybrid in Washington, DC
