Responsibilities

Are you looking to make a difference in the federal government? Are you seeking a career where your work directly supports the safety, efficiency, and modernization of the National Airspace System? Are you passionate about quality, innovation, and ensuring mission‑critical systems perform as intended? Do you have experience in software testing, system validation, and working with Agile software development teams?

Then we have an opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will join a high‑performing team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the development, testing, and validation of the TEMT Tool (The help desk portion), a mission‑critical application that supports FAA operational and engineering activities. Working alongside software developers, systems engineers, and customer stakeholders, you will help deliver high‑quality tools and acquisition support services that support FAA programs and initiatives nationwide.

With multiple projects, evolving requirements, and a diverse stakeholder community, this role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.

This position is ideal for a capable professional with experience collaborating with Agile software teams and engaging directly with customers. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders via meetings, phone calls, email, and software demonstrations. Attention to detail, customer focus, and a commitment to quality are essential to maintaining the high standards expected for FAA systems and applications.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, creating and executing test cases, documenting and tracking defects, validating system requirements, and coordinating testing activities across multiple software development teams. The individual will also identify opportunities for process improvements and help promote testing best practices throughout the organization.

In addition to testing responsibilities, this role provides opportunities to support customer engagement activities, including demonstrating software capabilities, gathering user feedback, identifying configuration and customization needs, coordinating with development teams to deliver effective solutions, and assisting with support ticket resolution.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to technology that supports FAA operations while advancing your career in a collaborative and mission‑focused environment.
