Our Data and Machine Learning Platform builds foundational data and AI capabilities such as Lineage, Discovery, Storage, IAM, Compute, and Privacy. This role focuses on the IAM platform for

B.com’s 100 PB+ multi-modal data & AI platform, ensuring secure, compliant access across Snowflake, S3 and other systems.

• Set product strategy, evolution, and adoption for access management, translating governance requirements into shipped outcomes.
• Own a defined product area, partner tightly with engineering, architecture, and data scientists.
• Validate value through prototyping and experiments, driving measurable adoption and product pull.
• Ensure the IAM platform becomes the default path for real user workflows.
• Balance value for data & AI practitioners and compliance/control/legal functions.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery: prioritize development, changes, and defects with user experience at the core; ship safely with rollout and migration plans.
• Partner with engineering and architects to embed governance into developer workflows with minimal friction.
• Drive operational readiness, instrumentation, reliability, and documentation.
• Drive adoption through documentation, demos, office hours, training, and support.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders about decisions, trade‑offs, and outcomes.

• 6–8 years technical product management experience, preferably with 3+ years building data & AI governance products.
• Experience with distributed data & AI platforms and deep understanding of batch, stream, and cloud solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with distributed data & AI systems and how different personas use them.
• Ability to define KPIs, instrument funnels, and iterate based on evidence.
• Strong technical fluency with distributed data & AI systems, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Experience partnering with engineering and architecture; ability to write crisp requirements and make trade‑offs.
• Working knowledge of data governance concepts for distributed AI systems (access controls, retention, DSR fundamentals).

• For Washington, DC: salary range $170,700–$189,700 USD.
