Mid-Level Software Developer Security Clearance

Envisioneering, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Software Developer at Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate with experience with Dev Sec Ops  and secure code development. The selected candidate will function as part of a software team responsible for delivering capabilities on Navy EW systems. Candidate must possess effective communication and problem‑solving skills and the ability to work closely with government and industry partners on system integration.

Position may include work with C++, Python, Java, Rust, MySQL, Docker/Pod Man, React, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar Qube, and REST API. Travel up to 20% required for testing and integration at partner locations. IT certifications.

• Top Secret DoD clearance.
• 3-10 years of experience in Dev Sec Ops  software development.
• Use of various Dev Sec Ops  or CI/CD tools as needed to accomplish objectives.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and integrate software that meets requirements.
• Identify obstacles to software delivery and work with the project team to establish a path forward.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet program goals.

• Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance required at time of hire.
• 3 years of experience with Dev Sec Ops  software development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (IT) or other STEM field.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must pass a drug and pre‑employment screening.
