Lead .NET Developer

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead .NET Developer to support a high-profile federal government program. This role combines hands-on software development with technical leadership, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building modern applications while mentoring developers and driving technical decisions across the development lifecycle.

The successful candidate will lead the design and development of scalable applications, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and help deliver secure, mission-critical solutions in a fast-paced government environment.

• Active Secret Clearance (required).
• 8+ years of software development experience with Microsoft technologies.
• Proven experience leading software development teams or serving as a technical lead.

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
• Serve as the technical lead for a team of developers, providing guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET/C# and modern web technologies.
• Build and support front-end and API integrations utilizing Node.js.
• Develop and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and scalability standards required for federal government environments.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend improvements to application design, frameworks, and development practices.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during incident resolution.
• Support Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
