Senior Platform Software Engineer - OCI Identity and Access Management

** Job Description*

** Senior Software Engineer

** Identity and Access Management (IAM)
** team, you'll design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services that power our global authentication and authorization systems. You'll contribute to the technical direction of key projects, write high-quality code, and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions.

** Responsibilities*

* + Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.

+ Build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.

+ Participate in software design reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

+ Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.

+ Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.

+ Analyze system performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.

+ Collaborate with Product Management, and partner engineering teams.

+ Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

+ Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and documentation.

+ Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and development processes.

** Required Technical Skills*
* + Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python, or a similar language.

+ Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.

+ Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.

+ Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.

+ Understanding of cloud computing concepts and service-oriented architectures.

+

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices.

+ Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS).

** Preferred Qualifications*

Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.

+ Experience operating production cloud services.

+ Familiarity with public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing).

+ Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS).
