As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a .NET & React Full Stack Developer.

AIS is seeking a .NET & React Full Stack Developer to join our team and support a mission‑critical federal client in Washington, DC. In this role, you will contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of secure web applications and services that support high‑impact operations. You will work hands‑on with the .NET framework and modern front‑end technologies to build clean, efficient, and reliable solutions that integrate seamlessly across backend, frontend, and cloud environments.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full‑stack application features using C#, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, React, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML, and CSS
• Build responsive, user‑friendly front‑end interfaces using React and modern UI development practices
• Develop scalable and secure backend components and APIs to support application functionality
• Modify and enhance existing code to improve performance, usability, and maintainability
• Integrate third‑party tools, APIs, and services as needed
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code aligned with best practices and team guidelines
• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure functionality and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues
• Use Git/Git Lab for version control, branching, and team collaboration
• Assist with remediation of code and package vulnerabilities identified through security scans

• Active Top Secret clearance is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience using C# and the .NET framework
• Hands‑on experience with ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL Server
• Experience developing front‑end applications or components using React, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML, and CSS
• Familiarity with architectural patterns and API styles, including REST and/or RPC
• Experience integrating front‑end components with back‑end services and APIs

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Basic understanding of Dev Ops practices or exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab preferred)
• Experience working with Object‑Relational Mappers (ORMs) such as Entity Framework
