For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Software Engineer. The role requires a Senior Power Platform Developer who will support federal client designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, and related Microsoft technologies. The position combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, requiring expertise in solution architecture, integrations, governance, Dev Ops, and stakeholder engagement to deliver scalable, secure, and user‑focused business solutions.

The successful candidate will also drive platform best practices, mentor teams, and help shape the organization’s Power Platform strategy. This position is on‑site/hybrid and requires an active Top Secret security clearance.

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• Lead architectural design sessions and translate business requirements into scalable, well‑structured Power Platform solutions.
• Implement robust data models, relationships, and business rules using Dataverse and other connected data sources.
• Build custom connectors, integrate external systems, and optimize API‑based integrations across the M365 and Azure ecosystems.
• Develop and deploy Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls and other extensibility components using JavaScript/Type Script.
• Establish and enforce Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, ALM processes, and security best practices.
• Manage solution lifecycle through source control, Dev Ops pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high‑quality, maintainable solutions.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and technical discussions with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and business analysts to refine requirements and shape platform strategy.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and solution diagrams.

• Active Top Secret clearance required with ability to obtain SCI and 5‑8 years experience (expert‑level) building solutions using Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven) and Power Automate.
• 1+ year of experience with Power BI and SharePoint.
• Bachelor’s Degree (additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of the Degree).
• Strong proficiency with Dataverse, data modeling, and relational data structures.
• Experience developing Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls.
• Experience in creating and consuming custom connectors and integrating external systems.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, and Node.js.
• Experience with developing, packaging, and deploying C# plugins for extending business logic in Power Apps applications.
