iOS Developer
USA TODAY CO. Inc., a top 20 digital-media company, seeks an iOS Developer to join the USA TODAY CO Native Apps Engineering team.
The mobile team is responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class mobile solutions scalable throughout multiple USA TODAY CO brands, including USA TODAY. Solutions include in-house and managed-vendor approaches and target all mobile devices from a native-application perspective. All USA TODAY CO mobile initiatives are extremely high profile and must utilize state-of-the-art technologies.
Responsibilities- Timely development, testing, and release of mobile applications for iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and tvOS in support of USA TODAY CO. mobile initiatives.
- Pay keen attention to detail to comply with USA TODAY CO.'s high standards of quality.
- Work with other developers, designers, and product/business managers to develop new features consistent with the product roadmap.
- Learn and absorb new technologies quickly, be a strong team player, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands.
Specific duties include building Native iOS applications using the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is a must, and a degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years of iOS experience.
- Knowledge of Objective-C and Swift programming languages is a must. Knowledge of Swift concurrency is a must.
- Knowledge of Flutter and Dart is a major plus.
- Strong object-oriented design, programming, and debugging skills.
- Experience with GIT or other version control systems is a must.
- Demonstrable experience with Xcode and iOS SDK is a must
- The annualized base salary for this role will range between $160,000 and $175,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience.
