Job Title: AI/ML Engineer III (GenAI Agentic Consultant)
Job Location: Onsite — Washington, DC.
Role SummaryThis senior role provides architectural leadership for enterprise-grade GenAI and agentic systems. The consultant bridges business objectives, AI capabilities, and enterprise platforms to ensure responsible, secure, and scalable AI adoption.
Scope Of Work &Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement single-agent and multi-agent GenAI solutions.
- Serve as the architectural authority ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
- Define agent orchestration patterns including planning, memory, tool use, and collaboration.
- Develop AI reference architectures (RAG, tool-augmented agents, event-driven workflows).
- Lead architectural decisions in Agile and SAFe environments.
- Evaluate and select enterprise-ready AI platforms, LLMs, and orchestration tools.
- Design secure integrations with APIs, data platforms, and identity systems.
- Ensure AI governance, privacy, auditability, and human-in-the-loop controls.
- Provide hands‑on leadership through POCs, reviews, and production troubleshooting.
- Drive Dev Sec Ops , MLOps, and LLMOps adoption.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 10 years in solution or enterprise architecture.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML or GenAI systems.
- Deep expertise in agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.
- Strong cloud experience (Azure preferred) including hybrid architectures.
- Solid software engineering foundation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Responsible AI, governance, and compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
