Data Hub Developer Position Summary

Builds and maintains the program Data Hub event‑streaming platform — the Apache Kafka / NATS.io based pipeline that ingests H-2A case events, enriches and denormalizes them, and persists data into business and analytics systems. Serves as alternate contract manager, providing backup contractual and coordination support.

• Design and develop the program Data Hub event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka and related streaming components.
• Implement event gateways, pub/sub flows, enrichment, and stream connectors that persist event data into business systems.
• Develop and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and schemas for Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Apply Dev Sec Ops  practices and perform CVE remediation across the streaming platform.
• Serve as alternate contract manager, supporting contractual coordination and reporting as needed.
• Document data flows, architecture, and root cause analyses.

• Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience supporting major IT systems.
• Kafka / event-driven architecture design and implementation.
• Java development.
• Elasticsearch.
• Oracle and MySQL with complex SQL, stored procedures, and schema design.
• Dev Sec Ops  practices, including CVE remediation.

• Experience with NATS.io and exactly‑once / durable message handling.
• Contract management or coordination experience for backup duties.
• Experience supporting foreign labor or other public-facing federal case management systems.
