Service Now Developer

Job Summary:

The Service Now Developer will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing the Service Now platform to support the Historical.ai RAG solution. The role includes building workflows, UI components, business logic, and integrations while ensuring adherence to Service Now development standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Service Now applications, forms, workflows, and user interfaces.
• Build Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer workflows.
• Develop and consume REST APIs to integrate Service Now with external systems.
• Configure Agent Workspace/UI Builder components to display Historical.ai recommendations.
• Perform unit testing, defect resolution, code reviews, and deployment using Update Sets/Source Control.
• Collaborate with architects, integration developers, QA, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skill:

• Strong experience in Service Now platform development and customization.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Scripted REST APIs.
• Experience with UI Builder, Agent Workspace, and Service Portal development.
• Knowledge of ITSM/CSM modules, Service Now best practices, debugging, and performance optimization.

Certifications:

• Mandatory Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD)
