The Full-Stack Engineer partners with a cross-functional team to build out new cloud application features and optimize and improve existing features. You will build and evolve Asset Watch's industrial IoT SaaS platform using Node JS, React, Type Script, AWS serverless technologies, event-driven services, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-assisted development across frontend, backend, and APIs.

Senior engineers are expected to take on complex development tasks and may lead parts of projects. They contribute significantly to design and architecture and mentor junior engineers.

• Technical Experience – Strong technical experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality solutions.
• Problem Solving – Able to work independently on highly complex projects. Participate in tech planning including estimates. Work closely with P3 and P2 engineers providing technical guidance and support.
• Process Improvement – Strong participation in process improvements including tools and standards.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing – Serve as a technical mentor for engineers to help enforce standards, support continuous learning, and knowledge management

• Develop new cloud application features including from React to AWS API Gateway and Lambda/ECS to database.
• Own technical solutions and feature improvements from design through production.
• Design and implement scalable, observable technical solutions, including technical design documents, implementation plans, migration plans, and architecture decision records that help evolve application architecture and engineering standards.
• Support production systems through monitoring, alerting, incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
• Support code deployment and continuous integration.
• Build high-quality software through automated testing and thoughtful peer code reviews.
• Mentor other engineers on effective and responsible use of agentic AI tools.
• Help improve SDLC through tooling, automation, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate across teams to solve problems and maintain clear API, event, and data contracts.
• Continuously improve engineering best practices, coding standards, and shared technical patterns.
• Use agentic AI tools to accelerate planning, implementation, debugging, testing, and documentation while exercising sound judgment.
• Review and validate AI-assisted work to ensure quality, security, maintainability, and alignment with engineering standards.

• Demonstrated experience delivering React web applications integrated with databases (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Strong professional experience building production applications in Type Script and React.
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or similar).
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, Cloud Watch, Datadog).
