Automation Engineer

Must have proven experience with Selenium & Java

Must have proven experience testing APIs

Proficient in database querying, data creation, and data validation

Strong knowledge and extensive experience in various types of testing (Unit, Integration, API, Smoke, System, Browser compatibility, etc.) is required

Enterprise software experience is required

Cloud and/or SaaS providers, or web application providers testing experience is a plus

3+ years of experience developing test automation solutions for presentation layers and APIs

Experience establishing Test Automation Frameworks and creating reusable components libraries while implementing effective quality assurance strategies and best practices

Experience with selections from the following list of tools and technologies:

• Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured or equivalent web-service automation tool
• JUnit, TestNG, Spock, Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress, Jasmine, Karma
• Gradle, Maven
• Git Hub, Jira, IntelliJ, Eclipse
• Test data management
• Jenkins or an equivalent CI/CD tool
• Kubernetes and microservices, Restful APIs

Financial Services background desired

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to collaborate at various levels and to find solutions

Coach and mentor others on test automation tools and coding practices
