AI Engineer

Location:
Washington DC (Hybrid - 4 Days)

We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions that solve real business problems. The ideal candidate should have experience building machine learning and generative AI applications, working with large language models (LLMs), and developing scalable AI solutions. This role is open to junior, mid-level, and senior professionals with varying levels of hands‑on experience.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for business applications.
• Build and integrate Generative AI and LLM-based applications.
• Develop data pipelines and preprocess structured and unstructured data.
• Create APIs and backend services for AI models.
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver AI solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve deployed AI applications.
• Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and industry trends.

• Experience with Python.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini, or similar.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensor Flow, Hugging Face, or Lang Chain.
• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, Weaviate, etc.) is a plus.
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
• Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Familiarity with SQL and No

• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience deploying AI applications in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and AI model optimization.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Junior (1–3 years): Experience with Python, ML fundamentals, and AI application development.
• Mid-Level (3–6 years): Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/LLM applications in production.
• Senior (6+ years): Proven experience designing AI architectures, leading AI initiatives, optimizing production AI systems, and mentoring engineering teams.
