Git Lab is hiring a Backend Engineer on the Chat Engine team to build the engine behind Git Lab Duo Chat. You will primarily use Python to develop and maintain the agentic runtime:
Flow Registry, Lang Graph flows, and the Duo Workflow Service, while integrating with the Git Lab Rails monolith.
You will own scoped parts of the system, ship small features with minimal guidance, and collaborate with senior engineers who will mentor your growth.
