As a full stack software engineer, you can resolve complex problems with complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, Agile environment. You'll work across the technology stack and collaborate with other engineers, architects, product owners, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable and maintainable software solutions. As a full stack software engineer at Booz Allen, you'll use modern development tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies to solve challenging technical and mission problems. You'll develop backend services, APIs, data integrations, and user-facing capabilities while working within established application architectures and engineering standards.
You'll participate in technical design discussions, troubleshoot application issues, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improvements in software quality and maintainability. You'll work alongside senior engineers to evaluate technical approaches, learn new tools and technologies, and continuously improve the team's development and delivery practices. You Have:
* 4+ years of experience in software engineering, including developing, testing, integrating, or maintaining software applications
* 3+ years of experience developing applications using an object-oriented programming language
* 2+ years of experience developing web applications using frontend technologies or frameworks, such as React or Angular
* Experience developing or integrating backend services and RESTful APIs
* Experience developing applications using relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, and working with SQL
* Experience working within Agile software development environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
* Experience using software development and task management tools, such as Jira
* TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
* Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology field or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have:
* Experience developing production applications with Python
* Experience developing enterprise web applications
* Experience with microservices, distributed systems, or event-driven architectures
* Experience with AWS cloud-native or serverless application development
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Cloud Formation
* Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as Git Lab, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins
* Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies
* Experience with automated unit, integration, or end-to-end testing
* Experience with application authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, or observability
* Experience working in Dev Sec Ops software delivery environments Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
