The Opportunity

At AFS, Product & Platform Engineering Analysts are at the forefront of building mission‑critical solutions for the U.S. federal government. In this role, you’ll work directly on full‑stack development, cloud‑native engineering, and modern software practices—preparing you to tackle real‑world challenges with cutting‑edge tools.

What You’ll Do
  • Build full‑stack applications using languages like Python, Java, and Java Script
  • Use modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, and Spring Boot
  • Develop and deploy cloud‑native solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Integrate AI/ML models into production systems responsibly and efficiently
  • Experiment with emerging technologies, including generative AI and autonomous agents
  • Contribute to secure, resilient software following Dev Sec Ops  and SDLC best practices
  • Collaborate in agile teams to deliver solutions supporting federal missions
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology (with programming focus), or STEM with strong software development coursework, with graduation by August 31, 2027.
  • Strong academic track record (3.2+ cumulative GPA) from a 4‑year accredited institution.
  • Strong foundation in programming and software engineering principles
  • U.S. citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements)
  • Ability to travel 25-50% preferred, but requirements vary by team and location.

  • Curiosity to learn about and experiment with agentic, cloud, and automation technologies
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, collaborative, agile teams
  • Clear communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, frameworks, and concepts

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
