Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary

The Programmer 5 is a senior software developer responsible for supporting the full software development lifecycle in an Agile environment. This role focuses on developing and modernizing legacy applications into .NET-based solutions using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, and SQL Server. The position requires collaboration with supervisors, project managers, and development teams to ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural best practices.

• 10+ years of .NET web development experience, including ASP.NET Core MVC.
• 10+ years of experience with ASP.NET development using C#.
• 10+ years of experience in SQL Server database design and development, including query optimization, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• 10+ years of experience with Entity Framework and .NET Framework 4.0 or higher.
• 10+ years of experience with TFS, code repository management, promotion, and recovery strategies.
• Strong experience with SOA / WCF and N-tier development and deployment environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology, TFS / Azure Dev Ops, Git, CI/CD pipelines, SSRS, SSIS, Visual Studio, and mobile-compliant application development.
• 2+ years of experience with REST API, .NET Core / .NET 5, and TDD or application testing strategies.
• Must be an Ohio resident.

• Experience implementing AJAX-enabled controls within ASP.NET web applications.
• Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing deadlines effectively.

• Candidate must be an Ohio resident.
• Onsite work required every 3rd day in Columbus, OH.
• Initial 15-minute Teams interview followed by a full onsite interview.

• Work onsite every third day in Columbus, OH.
• Standard Agile team schedules with collaboration and development cycles.
