We're looking for an experienced Senior Service Now Developer to design, develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve enterprise Service Now solutions.
- Design, develop, enhance, debug, test, and implement Service Now solutions
- Work with Product Owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Build requested items, tasks, workflows, approvals, and process life cycles
- Design and develop Service Now Forms, Tables, Modules, and applications
- Develop Workflow / Flow Designer solutions
- Configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs
- Configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, and Service Portal/CMS components
- Configure and maintain Service Now integrations with external systems
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve application problems
- Create and manage Update Sets and promote/test changes across multiple instances into production
- Support reports, operational administration, and continuous service improvement
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with development, business, and project teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Follow Service Now best practices, security guidelines, governance policies, and maintain an OOTB-focused environment
- 12+ years of overall IT/software development experience
- 8+ years of hands-on Service Now development
- 6+ years of Service Now Architecture and Service Now Scripting
- 6+ years working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong hands-on experience with ITSM, ITFM, HRSD, ITOM, PPM, and SPM
- Strong understanding of Service Now architecture and implementation
- Experience with Service Now integrations and multiple platforms
- Experience creating, promoting, and testing Update Sets through multiple instances
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- CAD or CIS certification is highly desired
- Government client experience is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and technical leadership skills
