Leidos is seeking a SME Oracle APEX Developer to support the ESA V program in Washington, DC. The role will focus on full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, primarily using Oracle APEX, while supporting customer requirements and mission needs. The successful candidate will be personable, articulate, self-starting, able to work with limited supervision, and comfortable interfacing directly with customers.

Duration: 6 months, with possible FTE opportunity

Work Schedule: Standard hours; no overtime expected

• Support the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, primarily using the Oracle APEX toolset.
• Perform advanced development using Oracle APEX 21 and above
  .
• Use Oracle Integrated Development Environments, including Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer
  .
• Create dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment.
• Support Oracle Database products and database objects, including tables, indexes, directories, sequences, and triggers.
• Develop and support solutions using PL/SQL, Java, Windows Power Shell, and Unix shell scripting
  , including familiarity with built-in PL/SQL packages and procedures.
• Support storage, retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data including BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, and XMLType in an Oracle environment.
• Integrate and manage BI Publisher templates and web services
  .
• Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications and design migration strategies to scalable and secure web applications using Oracle APEX.
• Develop APIs and connections to external applications.
• Deliver enterprise-level workflow-centric applications.
• Build logical functions and algorithms to automate business processes.
• Establish goals and meet project plan objectives.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and support application migrations.
• Maintain system documentation for work products.
• Interface with customers to understand requirements and mission needs and translate them into effective actions.

• Oracle APEX, including advanced use of Oracle APEX 21 and above

• Full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using the Oracle APEX toolset

• Unstructured data handling in Oracle, including BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, and XMLType
  .
• Secure network programming in an Oracle environment, including security certificates and HTTPS callouts
  .
• BI Publisher templates and web services
  .
• APIs and external application connections.
• Data migration tools and techniques.

• Oracle Forms and Reports version 10G or higher
  .
• Oracle APEX 4.0 and above
  .
• Experience troubleshooting operational issues.
• Government contracting experience, particularly with the DOJ
  .
• Current DOJ Clearance
  .

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience
  , or a Master's degree with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience
  .
• May possess a Doctorate in a technical domain
  .
• Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
  .
• Experience establishing goals and meeting project plan objectives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to write and maintain system documentation on work products.
