Seeking a Senior Service Now Developer to support and lead continuous improvement initiatives for an enterprise Service Now implementation. This role will lead custom development, design and implementation across multiple Service Now modules while providing technical leadership, hands-on coding, stakeholder collaboration, and support for the Service Now roadmap. The position requires strong Service Now development expertise, particularly with CSM, HAM, CMDB, and HRSD.

• Lead custom development and technical reviews for Service Now modules and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level staff.
• Gather and document business and system requirements and support development of use cases and testing procedures.
• Assist with the architecture, design, management, and implementation of Service Now solutions.
• Design implementation plans, SOPs, and system architecture for project deployments.
• Design, configure, and implement application environments and production-support processes.
• Design and develop Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting.
• Develop automation workflows, perform unit testing, and conduct technical reviews to ensure coding standards, best practices, and platform performance.
• Support software development using an Agile framework, including daily scrums and ceremonies, story updates, and development documentation in Service Now.
• Design and implement integrations and collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams.
• Gather feedback, identify project risks and challenges, evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate project meetings with technical staff and stakeholders.
• Prepare project status reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain the project documentation repository.
• Ensure development complies with security policies and Service Now Technical Best Practices.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with clients and vendors to achieve project objectives.
• Provide accurate work estimates and assist with implementation of new features, interfaces with storage systems, and data transformation.

• Service Now development experience, with CSM as the highest-priority area

• Hands-on Service Now development across multiple modules, particularly:
• Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
• Familiarity with:
• ITSM
• ITOM
• Hands-on Service Now custom-scoped application development.
• HTML

• AI experience with Now Assist, third-party LLM APIs, and Automatic Test Framework

• Service Now Certified Application Developer Certification.
• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist Certification.
• ITIL v3 Foundations Certification.

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of proven experience as a Service Now Developer
  , with a strong understanding of the Service Now platform's architecture and capabilities.
• Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 6 years of experience with design, development, and support
  .
• At least 4 years of experience leading software development projects
  .
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale projects in diverse team environments.
• Strong leadership skills while remaining hands-on with coding and development.

• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance prior to the start date.
• Active Service Now Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) certification, or ability to obtain the certification within 3 months of hire.
