Improve the scalability, reliability, and performance of our Ruby on Rails application
Design and optimize data storage using PostgreSQL and object storage services
Build features for teams, organizations, and developer communities
Develop integrations with external platforms to extend our product ecosystem
Help review and shape code from peers to ensure quality, security, and best practices
5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases)
Experience with AWS and modern cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with CSS, SASS, HTML, and other templating/styling languages
Experience building web applications with REST or GraphQL APIs
- Production experience with Node.js and Type Script; this role works across both the Rails and Node/Type Script stacks
Strong communication skills — especially when explaining technical topics
Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required, as this role involves frequent collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers where English is the primary working language.
Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers or edge infrastructure
Interest in working with AI or LLMs
Experience integrating with Git Hub APIs or other version control systems
