Quality Assurance Engineer - EQX Platform ( Java + Agentic AI + Automated testing mandatory)

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join the EQX team, responsible for ensuring the

quality and reliability of our next-generation real estate asset management platform. The EQX platform

serves mortgage servicers, lenders, and GSEs managing REO properties, short sales, and vendor workows.

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for EQX platform features
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple application layers
• Test React-based web applications (eqx-ui, eqx-ui-agent, eqx-ui-vendor) for functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Validate REST APIs and backend services (Node.js/Express, Java/Spring Boot)
• Execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and verify database operations (SQL Server)
• Collaborate with developers to identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
• Contribute to test automation e orts using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks
• Support UAT coordination with business stakeholders and clients
• Review requirements and provide early feedback on testability and edge cases.

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Experience testing web applications (React, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks)
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar
• Pro ciency in SQL for data validation and test data setup (SQL Server preferred)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience with test automation (Jest, Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright)
• Experience testing Node.js/Express or Java/Spring Boot backend services
• Experience testing Cold Fusion applications
• Experience in mortgage/real estate or nancial services domain
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and version control (Git/Bitbucket)
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
• Understanding of accessibility testing (WCAG compliance)
• Experience testing AI/ML features or integrations
