We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in modern test automation frameworks and a proven background in the Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using .NET, Playwright, Reqnroll, NUnit, and C#. Experience with legacy automation tools such as Tosca, AI‑assisted development using Git Hub Copilot, and collaborative development practices with Git Hub is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain robust UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks using .NET, C#, Playwright, Reqnroll, and NUnit.
- Create and maintain Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) test scenarios using Gherkin syntax and Reqnroll.
- Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Execute automated regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives.
- Utilize Git Hub for source code management, branching, code reviews, and collaboration.
- Leverage Git Hub Copilot to improve development productivity and accelerate automation scripting.
- Maintain automation code using Visual Studio Code as the primary development environment.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to understand business requirements and define comprehensive test strategies.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.
- Maintain test execution reports, automation dashboards, and quality metrics.
- Experience testing Insurance applications across one or more domains, including:
- Policy Administration
- Claims Management
- Underwriting
- Billing and Payments
- Customer Portals
- Agent/Broker Portals
- Quote‑to‑Bind processes
- Strong understanding of insurance business workflows, policy lifecycle, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, claims processing, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience validating complex business rules, premium calculations, and policy transactions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with insurance business stakeholders to ensure complete test coverage.
- Strong experience with .NET for automation framework development.
- Proficiency in C# programming.
- Hands‑on experience with Playwright for browser automation.
- Experience using Reqnroll for BDD test automation with Gherkin.
- Experience with NUnit as the test execution framework.
- Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code as the primary IDE.
- Experience with Git Hub for source code management and collaboration.
- Practical experience using Git Hub Copilot to improve coding efficiency and automation development.
- Knowledge of API testing, JSON, REST services, and automation best practices.
- Experience debugging automation scripts and optimizing execution performance.
