Backend Java Developer for a Full-Time position.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Java Developer to support a large-scale, cloud-native enterprise application. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience and be comfortable working in an established Java microservices environment
, contributing across development, testing, deployment, and production support.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services and microservices.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs using Spring/Spring Boot.
• Work with PostgreSQL and troubleshoot application/database issues.
• Deploy and support applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Work with containers, Git/Git Lab, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using automated testing practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues across applications, services, and databases.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, Dev Ops, and other team members in an Agile environment.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with containers and CI/CD.
• Proficiency with Git/Git Lab.
• Experience with automated testing and software development best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Open Search or Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS SNS/SQS.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Experience supporting production-grade enterprise applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on backend Java development experience.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and across the full software development lifecycle
