Java Developer Angular

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with Angular to join our team and support the remediation of security vulnerabilities across a group of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Java , Spring Framework / Spring Boot , and Angular and is comfortable working with existing enterprise applications, analyzing security findings, and implementing secure and maintainable fixes across both backend and front-end components.

The primary focus of the role is Java/Spring development and security vulnerability remediation, with Angular used to support and maintain front-end components where required.

• Analyze and remediate security vulnerabilities across the applications
• Develop, modify, and maintain backend functionality using Java and Spring / Spring Boot
• Maintain and update front-end functionality using Angular
• Investigate existing code and implement solutions that address vulnerabilities without negatively affecting business functionality
• Upgrade vulnerable libraries, frameworks, and application dependencies
• Perform code-level remediation based on security findings and secure development practices
• Troubleshoot issues resulting from security fixes, dependency upgrades, or existing implementations
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code across backend and front-end components
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and validation of implemented fixes
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product stakeholders, and other team members
• Support continuous improvement of application security and technical quality

• 2+ years of commercial software development experience with Java
• Proficiency in Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Angular and front-end application development
• Background in working with enterprise applications and existing/legacy codebases
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development
• Familiarity with common application security vulnerabilities and secure coding practices
• Capability to investigate security findings, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes
• Skills in dependency/library upgrades and resolving compatibility issues
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a distributed team
• Good English communication skills (B1+ level)
• Nice to have Previous experience with security vulnerability remediation projects
• Expertise in security scanning or static analysis tools
• Showcase of modernizing or maintaining large enterprise applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
